Effectively, this app has become abandonware by Blizzard on the Mac. Diablo IV utilizes an open world structure with five unique regions. So I pop that into my torrent application, and sure enough, it's stalled because there are 0 seeds or peers. I open the dmg file and sure enough, there's a "downloader.torrent" file in there. It seems to be looking for a file package, which I do not have.
I get a popup for the file selector, which of course yields nothing. Lo and behold, they have a Mac downloader! So I got all excited to not need Bootcamp, and downloaded the installer. I recently got that DII itch again, and so I went to the Blizzard website to install the client.
